Bitrix24 is developed in the PHP programming language, uses a MySQL database, Apache and Nginx web servers, as well as a number of additional software.

• 100 – 500 users: Intel Xeon E3-1230v5 3.4 GHz, 4 cores / 2 x 2 TB HDD for portal files / 2 x 256 GB SSD for database files / 32 GB DDR4.

• 500 – 1000 users: Intel Xeon E5-1650v4 3.6 GHz, 6 cores / 2 x 4 TB HDD for portal files / 2 x 480 GB SSD for database files / 64 GB DDR4.

• 1000 – 5000 users: Intel Xeon E5-1650v4 3.6 GHz, 6 cores / 2 x 4 TB HDD for portal files / 2 x 480 GB SSD for database files / 128 GB DDR4.

• From 5000 users: 2 Intel Xeon E5-1650v4 3.6 GHz servers, 6 cores / 2 x 4 TB HDD for portal files / 2 x 480 GB SSD for database files / 128 GB DDR4.

These configurations are approximate and most projects may require significantly fewer resources. But for some, on the contrary, it may not be enough.

If you are deploying a boxed Bitrix24 for transfer from the cloud, you need to look at the space occupied in the cloud in the My tariff section and multiply by 3. This is how much space you need to provide on the server.

For large volumes of stored files in Bitrix24, the following scheme is often used:

• fast disk (SSD) - for the OS, portal files and database (from 60 GB)

• cheap disk (HDD) or external object storage (S3) - for file storage and Bitrix backups

If you are deploying your own server, do not forget about reliable disk redundancy (RAID).
